Frequently Asked Questions
General Information

Ice Shack Hours: 10 AM to 8 PM. Additional hours cost $100 per hour.

Activity Hours: Daily passes cover 9 AM to 6 PM. Seasonal passes include access to trails and rinks from 7 AM to 11 PM. Tubing is only available during business hours or reserved group sessions.

Group Rates: Available for groups larger than 25 during the week. Private access for group events can be arranged on weekends. Contact us at info@pine-lodge.ca or on Facebook.

Alcohol and Drugs: Prohibited during activities or on the ice. Violations void all insurance and liability coverage.

Refunds: No refunds for inclement weather, except for unsafe ice conditions determined by Pine Lodge at the end of the season.

Children Policy: An adult must be present at all times for all activities.
What to Bring

Warm outdoor clothing and footwear.

Skates, cross-country skis, food, drinks, pots, pans, utensils, plates, and a cart for transporting items to the shack.

If using a four-wheeler or side-by-side, ensure the driver has a valid license, adheres to the 10 km/h speed limit on the property, and does not consume alcohol.
Activities and Rentals

Firewood: Additional firewood is available for purchase.

Grill Rentals: A portable grill is available for rent at $25/day, including a full tank of butane.

Bait and Licenses: Guests must bring their own bait and have a valid Quebec fishing license.

Skating and Trails: Helmets are strongly recommended for skating, skiing, and tubing. Tubing is limited to one person per run, and running up the hill is not permitted.
Pets

Pets are welcome on-site but are not allowed in the ice shack.

They must be leashed and are not allowed on the tubing hill or skating rink.
Cleaning Policy

Guests must leave the shack as they found it.

Place garbage in the provided bags, sweep the shack, and replace cushions in their original positions.
Parking

Free parking is available on-site, with designated parking closer to the river for ice shack renters.

Driving on the ice is at your own risk. Only two vehicles are allowed on the ice at a time, with a spacing of 30 feet between vehicles and the shack. Guests are responsible for towing costs if stuck on the ice or beach.
Accessibility

The ice shack and tubing hill are not wheelchair accessible.

The skating rink and walking trails are wheelchair accessible.
Emergency Protocols

In case of an emergency, call 911 immediately.
Smoking Policy
-
Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the building and ice shack. Guests must be at least 9 meters from any doorway or activity to smoke or vape.
